How To Apply

 Polycarbonate Protective Coating

Shake both cans vigorously before mixing components. Mix 1 part OEM Headlight Restore Clearcoat to 1 part OEM Headlight Restore Catalyst (1:1). 30mls is adequate to spray two headlights. Mixing clear coat in ‘Dariole Moulds’ is an option. Always put the same lid and pourer back on to the same can. Never mix the lids with the wrong can.

Polycarbonate Protective Coating

Completely cover the vehicle to protect the paintwork from overspray when applying a new clear coat. Wipe down the headlights with a microfiber cloth. All excess water should be removed from the lens and surrounding areas. (Blowing the area with air is advised) Clean the lens thoroughly with isopropanol. Remove wet masking and re-mask headlights with masking tape and masking paper. Completely cover the vehicle to protect the paintwork from overspray when applying headlight clearcoat.

Headlight Coating

Apply one or two even coats in the one spray.  Spray from a distance of approximately 20-25 centimetres. Make sure the headlight is sprayed on all edges at an angle to get the inside edge of the lens closest to the vehicle to prevent possible delamination from the outer edge of the headlight. When the headlight has been sprayed and adequately covered with OEM Headlight Restore Clear Coat, leave for 20 minutes for the clear coat to cure. Unmask the vehicle, and check all panels so that overspray did not seep through. If it has, wipe with a micro-fiber cloth and isopropanol.
